Thank you for using Homa. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information we collect from users of our Services, including our bot and website. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites, services, or applications, even if they are accessible through our Services. This Privacy Policy applies to all products and services offered by Homa Industries Inc. What kind of data do we store?

We collect, store, and process data from your profile in Slack, such as:

  • employee names
  • gender pronouns of employees
  • employee emails
  • employee birthdays
  • employee avatars in Slack
  • employee Slack id
  • job titles of employees in the company
  • names of teams in which employees work
  • time zones indicated by employees
  • location indicated by the employee (accurate to the city)
  • date of commencement of work in the company of the employee
  • employee clothing size

in addition, we collect and store data:

  • the name of the company where the employees work
  • Slack company avatar
  • company domain in Slack
  • company Slack id
  • company time zone
  • approximate number of company employees
  • company location

Names of employees, their emails, avatars, Slack ID, time zone, company logo and locations, we collect requests in Slack via API.

The name of the employee's position, the name of the employee's team, the date of the start of work in the company is indicated separately by the company manager.

Birthday, city, pronouns, clothing size we collect requests the employee.

In addition, we collect, store, and process information about representatives of companies with whom we engage in commercial negotiations and/or subsequently enter into contracts.

As a policy, we do not collect any other personal information. We collect and store only the personal data that is necessary to provide our services.

How do we store your data?

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

We do not anonymise personal data, because we collect personal data within strictly defined limits, without collecting or storing anything extra, and use it directly to provide services to the client.

This data is not used to study the behavior of employees, or for any marketing purposes, we do not transfer or sell personal data to third parties. Accordingly, the anonymisation of personal data in our case does not make sense.

Where this data is stored (EU or outside EU)

This data is stored on our servers in Germany. We use the Amazon service for these purposes which provide an appropriate level of protection against unauthorised access to the personal data of our customers. Amazon provided us with servers located in Germany.

How do we use your data?

We will retain your personal information for only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
